The CEE Attorneys is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Associate to join the E-commerce team. In this role, you'll be navigating the dynamic global e-commerce and digital marketing landscape in today's business world.
Responsibilities:
Assisting senior colleagues in providing legal advice and support on various compliance and regulatory issues to e-commerce and technology industry clients, addressing their specific needs and concerns, with a focus on EU and US regulations.
Conducting thorough legal research on issues related to e-commerce and technology law, including intellectual property, data privacy, consumer protection and regulatory compliance.
Drafting and reviewing contracts (Marketing, SaaS, Distance Sales, etc.) between e-commerce and digital marketing businesses and their vendors and/or suppliers.
Drafting and reviewing terms of service, privacy policies and other agreements pertinent to e-commerce operations.
Collaborating with senior colleagues, product and marketing teams, and other stakeholders to analyze and respond to their requests in a legally compliant and business-oriented manner.
Monitor developments in e-commerce and technology law to ensure clients remain compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Law (can be a final-year student).
0-2 years of relevant experience in a legal setting. Experience working in a law firm and/or in the fields of e-commerce, technology law, or intellectual property law would be considered an advantage.
Basic understanding of intellectual property, data privacy and/or consumer protection laws would be considered an advantage.
Ability to conduct legal research and analysis.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn.
Good command of English.
