The role:
- The role focus will be to ensure the stable and efficient operation of the IT infrastructure through proactive work and close collaboration with various departments.
- Primary scope and focus – on IT infrastructure (servers, networks, security systems, user support) to maintain optimal performance and security.
- Work with the existing IT team on installation, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, analysis and repair.
- Ensure the maintenance and stable operation of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
- Provide support for workstations.
- Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot networks and servers (Windows, Linux).
- Ensure data backup and monitoring processes.
- Monitor IT systems and resolve problems in real time.
- Document IT infrastructure and procedures, including topologies, configurations, and backup plans.
- Collaborate with suppliers on contracts, SLA compliance, and problem escalation.
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects, including the implementation of new technologies, infrastructure upgrades, and expansions.
- Perform other tasks related to IT infrastructure management.
- Manager user accounts and permissions.
We expect:
- Bachelor’s degree in fields such as IT, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or similar.
- At least 3 years' experience in systems administration.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware) and their administration.
- Experience with MS SQL databases and their administration.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting systems.
- Experience in deploying and managing security systems (IPS, IDS, XDR).
- Ability to manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and SCOM.
- Strong network technology and firewall administration skills.
- Strong Microsoft Windows Server and Linux administration skills.
- English language skills – very good (both oral and written).
- Ownership, result-driven approach, ability to provide clear and concise technical assistance to non-technical users.
