Data Analyst | CGTrader

CGTrader is the world’s leading 3D model marketplace. It turns data into impact—fueling smarter product, marketing, and operations decisions across global team. Currently CGTrader is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team.
What you’ll do:
Data Integration & Modelling
- Build and maintain scalable BigQuery models
- Write high-performance SQL for complex data transformations
- Design and implement data pipelines and ensure data quality
Dashboards & Monitoring
- Develop Grafana dashboards for real-time and historical insights
- Define KPIs, set up alerts, and monitor trends
Cross-Functional Strategy
- Translate business questions into analytics requirements
- Lead exploratory data analyses to uncover growth opportunities
- Present actionable recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Innovation & Experimentation
- Propose hypotheses and run A/B tests or statistical models
- Stay ahead of analytics trends and introduce new methods or tools
Tool stack:
- Data Warehouse: Google BigQuery
- ETL & Orchestration: dbt, Airflow
- Dashboarding: Grafana
- Analytics & Scripting: SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy)
- Tracking & Experimentation: Google Analytics, Optimizely
- Cloud Services: GCP (BigQuery) and AWS (EC2, S3, EBS, etc)
Company expects:
- 3+ years in data analysis, BI, or analytics roles
- Expert in SQL and data modelling principles (star/snowflake schemas, normalisation/denormalisation, etc.)
- Proven experience building dashboards (Grafana or similar)
- Strong business acumen
- You speak both data and strategy fluently
Nice to have:
- Experience with Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy) for data analysis and scripting
- Familiarity with Google Analytics to drive insights on user engagement
- Knowledge of configuring and managing data pipelines and orchestration frameworks (e.g. Airflow, dbt)
- Background working with online marketplaces or e-commerce platforms, with an understanding of metrics like GMV and conversion rates
