KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead end-to-end software development by shifting focus from writing code to designing robust solutions, reviewing AI-generated outcomes, and taking full ownership of technical decisions.
Collaborate with AI coding agents inside the IDE to scaffold code and write tests — freeing up capacity for complex problem-solving and architecture work.
Drive solution design and technical decision-making, ensuring quality and alignment with project goals at every stage.
Apply expert judgment and creativity to evaluate, refine, and take accountability for AI-assisted outputs.
Champion a modern development mindset where engineering value lies in the quality of decisions, not the volume of code written.

WHAT COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR:

4+ years of backend development experience, with a strong track record of taking ownership and delivering results.
PHP: Deep knowledge of PHP 8+ (4+ years).
Frameworks: Strong experience with Symfony 6+ (3+ years preferred).
AI Fluency: Hands-on experience with Claude Code, Codex, or other coding agents.
Security: Solid understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP Top 10, with the ability to identify and remediate common web vulnerabilities.
Testing: 3+ years of experience with PHPUnit and functional testing.
Databases: Strong MySQL skills (3+ years).
Core Skills: GIT, OOP, and API design.
A genuine team player — you share knowledge, help colleagues grow, and can steer a small project or feature from start to finish independently.
Ability to take full ownership of features and be accountable for outcomes.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

NICE TO HAVE:

Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and optimization.
Familiarity with AWS services.
Python knowledge is a plus.
Comfort working in Linux environments.
Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira.
NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
PostgreSQL or MS SQL experience.
JWT and OAuth2 authentication.

SALARY RANGE:

EUR 3500-5500 gross, depending on your competence. The final agreed salary will depend on your experience and competencies.
